The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse

Of equal importance in The Light Box concept is the notion that cultural workers, the producers of the new work being developed by artists, will also benefit from increased creativity and productivity by sharing workspace and developing a cooperative work model. We intend to develop alternative approaches to fundraising, audience development and marketing via our collaborative setting.

Annually, The Light Box programming will include open rehearsals; studio performances; informal exhibitions; community participation in the creation of new work; workshops and camps for young people aspiring to careers in the arts; ground-breaking international cultural exchange and research opportunities among and across disciplines. Each organization participating in the sharing of the space will maintain their own distinct artistic profile, and over time, the sum of all these parts will result in a distinct artistic profile for The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse.

The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse is a catalyst for community transformation.
